About me.I was born and brought up in West Africa. My father was also a Master carpenter and Builder. He used his skills to help Nigeria to independence. I derived my interest in woodwork from him and a series of influential people in my youth.

Influences |
I trained as a professional Zoologist, spending many years researching centipede, termite and locust physiology and behaviour. My knowledge of comparative anatomy and how animals are engineered influences my designs. Function and form are inextricably linked.

What you can expect |
I have been making furniture professionally since 1987. My first piece was an 8 seater dining suite in oak and yew which I made in my daughter's bedroom. My web site reflects a small example of the pieces I have made over the years for my customers.
I usually work to commission, although I do make my dining and armchair designs to order. If you would like me to make you something then we can start with an email or telephone conversation. I can visit you, or you can come to me. I will interpret your brief and present you with a design drawing and accurate quote incorporating the design, the materials and my time in the cost.
